Passport.Me reads your data live instead of stockpiling it.
- Read-only unless you say so. AI apps can't send from your Gmail, and writes stay off until you allow them.
- Disconnect in one tap. A log shows which app used which source, and when.
- Your data stays yours. No resale. Google OAuth verified. Delete everything whenever you want out.
Questions, answered.
How is this different from Claude's or ChatGPT's own Gmail connector?
Those connectors link one AI to your inbox. Passport.Me connects your accounts once and gives every AI you approve the same view of you: your email, calendar and files, the memories you imported from other AIs, and profile facts you can review. You turn each app on or off separately, and one activity log shows which app used which source, and when.
How do I use the same context in Claude and ChatGPT?
Connect your accounts to Passport.Me once, then add Passport.Me to each AI you use: Claude, ChatGPT, Meta Muse, Cursor, Perplexity, GitHub Copilot or another app that supports MCP. Each one reads the same live email, calendar and files, the memories you imported and your confirmed profile facts, so you don't have to repeat yourself.
Does Passport.Me store my emails?
It doesn't keep copies of your mail. When an AI you approved asks for a message, Passport.Me fetches it from Google at that moment and passes it on. It does keep the profile facts it finds, each with a short piece of evidence, usually a subject line, and you can delete any of them. The Privacy Policy lists everything it keeps and for how long.
Can I give multiple AI assistants access to the same Gmail account?
Yes. You connect Gmail once, then approve each AI app on its own. Each app gets its own access, and turning one off doesn't affect the others.
How do I give Claude access to my Gmail?
Sign in at passport.me and choose Gmail. Then, in Claude's connector settings, add a custom connector with your Passport.Me server URL and approve it on the Passport.Me screen that opens. Claude then reads your inbox live, and you can turn it off at any time from your dashboard.
What are AI Memories and how do they work?
They bring what one AI knows about you to the others. Ask ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to write out what it remembers about you, import that into Passport.Me, and every AI you approve can use it. You can edit or delete any memory from your dashboard.
What is an MCP server and why do I need one?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI apps use to read live data from other services. Passport.Me runs one for you, so any AI app that supports MCP can read your email, calendar and files with your permission, instead of working only from what you paste into the chat. There's nothing to install or host.
What is Passport.Me?
Passport.Me gives every AI you use the same view of you. You connect Gmail, Calendar and Drive once, then approve each AI app, choose what it can see, and turn it off whenever you like. Apps can read your data but can't send email, and they can only write to Sheets, Docs or Calendar if you switch that on for them.
